Abingdon horse fairs, first m onday in Lent, May 6,
June 20, September 19, Decem ber n , and for hiring
servants and pleasure, m onday before Old Michaelmas
d ay; corn and cattle market every monday.
Bracknell, cattle and poultry m arket every thursday.
Didcot, corn m arket on tuesdays and wool fair on the
first tue-sday in July.
Faringdon, statute fairs, tuesday before and tuesday
after Old Michaelmas day; m arket day, tuesday; cattle
m arket, first tuesday in every month.
H ungerford, two statute or h iring fairs are annually
held, one on the Wednesday before and the other on
the Wednesday after Old Michaelmas d a y ; there are
also fairs held the last Wednesday in April for cattle,
