tical parish, form ed Nov. 4, 1862, out of the parish
and within the lib er ty of the borough of B uckin gh am ;
it is 1 m ile south-w est from th at town, in th e Northern
division of the county, B uckin gh am hundred, union,
p etty sessional division and cou n ty cou rt district, and
in th e ru ra l deanery and archdeaconry of B uckingham
and diocese of Oxford. T h e church of the H oly T rin ity,
b u ilt by subscription, and opened in 1828, consists' of
chancel, south porch, w ith western tower containing one
b e ll:
in 1895 the church was restored at a cost of
about £800: there are 300 sittings. T h e reg ister dates
