A fair is held h e re on th e M onday befo re th e 29th of
October. T h ere are tw o b r ic k , tile and lim e k iln s, w ith
potteries for coarse w a re , e s p e c ia lly d ra in in g p ip e s , w h ich
are made from a th ic k bed of g r e e n is h - w h ite sa n d y clay .
