the dining hall, w ith oak floor & panelÃDg & oak open roof.
The
studentsâ room s are arranged in sets on the east & west sides. Every
student has his own private study-bedroom , & room s are also provided
fo r the warden & for other resident members o f the staff. The southÂ
east corner o f the quadrangle is occupied by the principalâs lodge.
The H all provides fo r 76 students; S. B. W ard b.a. warden.
St.
Patrickâ s H all, a hall o f residence for men students, was opened in
September, 1913. It is situated in Northcourt avenue on high ground
overlooking the Kennet valley & provides accommodation for 65 students;
R ichard L loyd Pearson, warden. St.. Andrew âs H all o f Residence for
women students was opened in April, 1911, & was placed at the disposal
o f the C ollege b y M r. A lfred P alm er; there is accom modation for 80
students; Miss M ary Bolam m . a . warden.
W essex H all, a new hall o f
residence fo r women students, was opened in September, 1913.
It
occupies a site in Redlands road opposite St. A n drew âs H all & provides
accom m odation fo r 21 students.
St. G eorgeâs H ostel, which was
specially erected, provides accom m odation for 39 women students, each
student having a cubicle, or a single bedroom , or a study-bedroom ; Miss
Jessie Ormerod, warden.
In addition there are certain recognised
houses o f residence.
The Session consists o f three terms (Autum n,
Lent i& Summ er) o f ten weeks each.
