p u b lic recreation grou n d . M r. P alm er also g a v e a t an earlier date a
large recreation g rou n d in th e K in g â s m ead ow s, w h ic h is ex ten siv ely
used fo r crio k e t, fo o tb a ll and o th e r oufc-door gam es.
