E N uE Y is a parish, market town and borough corporate, situate
in tho hundred of Binfield, and on the S.E. border of the County
of Oxon, about 23 miles from Oxford ; 8 miles from R ea d in g ;
7 miles from Great M arlow ; 5 miles from Tw yford Station of
the Great W estern Railw ay ; 16 W . by N. from W indsor ; 9 W .
from Maidenhead ; and 35 miles W . from London by the road through
Maidenhead, Tho town and parish contains, according to the ParliaÂ
m entary returns, 1 92 0 acres.
