Berkshire and The War, The Reading Standard, 1916-1919.

Berkshire and The War was a series of booklets compiled from material from The Reading Standard War Supplement. Each edition contained about 190 photos and cost 3d. Themes included: Rally to the Colours, Your King and Country Needs You, Berkshire Prepares for War, Pictures from the Front and Roll of Honour for Reading and District – which listed local people who had lost their lives in the conflict and those who had distinguished themselves in battle.
