The late Corpl. ARTHUR HALE , formerly a keeper on the Haines Hill Estate. Recommended for promotion to provost
sergeant . - Killed by a sniper .
Second Lieut. G . H . BLACK , son of M r . W . H . Black, Inglemere, Reading. - Wounded.
The late Corpl . A . C. ASHFIELD , 6, New Square , Bartholomew Street, Newbury. - Killed in action . Aged 20.
Bandsman J. WAY ( stationed at the Depot for some years ) , 128, Wilson Road, Reading. - Was at one time seriously
ill in France, but has recovered.
Lce.- Corpl. G. B. WINDEBANK, Upper House Cottages, Lower Basildon. - Wounded.
