The late Rfn. VICTOR EDWARD BURGESS , 2/17th London Regt . , 15, Dorothy Street, Reading - Killed on
sentry duty. Aged 29
The late Second Lieut. ERNEST N.. PEYTON, 4 th Batt. Middlesex Regt.,
108, Addison Road , Reading . - Killed in action . Aged 22.
The lat e Major GEORGE BEAUMONT TYSER , East Lancs . Regiment , son of Mr . G. W. Tyser,
Oakfield , Mortimer . - Killed in action. Aged 39.
H e volunteered for the South African war and fought right through the campaign, obtaining medal and five clasps.
The late Capt . BRUCE S. SMITH - MASTERS, 2nd Baft. Essex Regt . ,late Kidmore End. Awarded Military Cross. - Killed in action. Aged 24.
