Lce.-Corpl. GEORGE PALINE, 1st B at t., Wistaria Cottage, Sonning. -Ankle smashed while bombing .
The late Pte. W . NOBES , 2 nd Batt . , 83, Chatham Street Reading. Killed in action. Aged 20.
The late Capt. AUBREY N . CAREW HUNT, Albury Rectory, Oxon, formerly of St . Giles' Vicarage, Reading.
Killed while superintending erection of wire netting. Aged 24.
The late Pte. CHARLES BROWN, 37, Downing Road, Tilehurst . - Killed in action . Aged 36.
The late Pte. ALBERT RANDALL, 17, Abbey Place, Abingdon . He was the Third son of a widow to fall in the war.
Pte. WM. DUFF, 5th Batt.,196, Caversham Road, Reading. Wounded .
Sergt . D. SHERGOLD , 5 th Batt . , 97, Curzon Street, Reading , went to the front in May, 1915, and sent home this photograph, which shows himself, his chums, French engineers, a Zouave, a Belgian farmer and his wife and others.
