IN MEMORY OF THE FALLEN
A large and reverent crowd gathered outside St. Mary 's Church,Reading,
on Sunday morning, March 25th, 1917, to witness the impressive ceremony of unveiling the war shrine.
WAR SHRINE AT KIDMORE
This handsome war shrine, which was unveiled at St John's Church, Kidmore End, is the gift of Mr Henry Taylor, and is made of teak from the Britannic.
The great care shown for the last resting places of our dead heroes must be some solace to the sorrowing relatives. This is a view of the Pieta Cemetery, Malta, and shows the grave of W.L. Streake, son of Mrs Streake, formerly of Reading.
