"B" Squadron Berkshire Yeomanry at Dinner.

WELCOME HOME FROM THE WAR.

A most enjoyable function took place at the Town Hall, Beading, on Friday, June 6th, when a dinner was given to welcome home "B" Squadron of the Berks Yeomanry. A large number sat down to a sumptuous repast, among whom were many of the members of "œC" Squadron. The chair was taken by Major Hughes (who commanded in Gallipoli after Brigadier-General Wigan was wounded, in the unavoidable absence of General Wigan, C.B., C.M.G., D.S.O., M.P. There were also present Lieut.-Colonel Leslie Wilson, C.M.G., D.S.O., M.P., the Mayor of Reading (Mr. S. Hayward), Lieut.-Colonel J. B. Karslake, Major F. J. Strange, D.S.O., Lieut.-Colonel A. F. Poulton, Major H. Crossland, Captain J. Greenaway, Lieut. J. E. Montecute, Major R. Hughes, Lieut.-Colonel Walsh, Major F. B. Hurndall, M.C., Captain H. A. Benyon, Captain H. C. Blyde, M.C., Captain L. N. Sutton, Lieut. J. S. M. Ressick, Sergt.-Major Bradbury, and Mr. L. G. Sutton.

During the dinner the band of the 1st Battalion Royal Berkshire Regiment played selections of music (Bandmaster White) by permission of the C.O.
