Church Street, Caversham, looking eastwards from the corner of Church Road and Bridge Street (Berry's Corner), 1908. On the left, at No. 2, is the grocery shop of Baylis and Company, followed by No. 4 (Green and Son, photographers), Nos. 6 and 8 (J. Soper, chimney sweep), and the house on the corner of Priory Avenue, with Nos. 14 and 16 (two shops) beyond it. The building on the right has a "to let" sign.
