SOLDIERS FAMILIES ENTERTAINED.
In many districts wives of soldiers and sailors attend
social gatherings from time to time, and our photographs shows those of Battle ward
(Reading) gathered in the Amateur Sports Ground after tea.
Lady residents arrange these pleasant entertainments, which serve to brighten the lives of
women whose dear ones are at the war.
