Pte. H.V. AXTON 13 Elm Cottages, Grove Street, Wantage. Wounded.
Pte. F. HOILE, St. Bartholomew's Road, Reading. Wounded. While home on leave he married.
Pte. A.J. BUNCE, Reading. Twice wounded.
Corpl. G. BADCOCK of Abingdon. Wounded.
Pte. S. EXELL, Hurst. Wounded.
Lce.-Corpl BEN J.A. BENNETT, 55 Weldale Street, Reading. Wounded.
The late Lieutenant LAURENCE GAIL NICHOLSON, D.S.O.
Died of wounds. Aged 32. He was wounded in an attack on the German position Paschendaele-Becelaire Road at Ypres in October 1914. Lieut. Nicholson was the son of Mr F.W. Nicholson of Shiplake, and was buried at the Parish Church by N.C.O.s of the Depot.
The above protrait was taken when Lieut. Nicholson was serving in the 14th Hussars.
