Victoria Rifles), a member of the firm of H. and G. Simonds,
Ltd. son of the late Dr. Shea and of Mrs. Shea, Bradfield.
Captain C. St. Q. O. FULLBROOK-LEGGATT,
1st Batt. Roal Berks Regiment, Knightslee, Eldon
Square, Reading. Awarded the D.S.O. for gallantry
in the retirement from Mons, when he was
lieutentant; he and his men helped to delay the Germans'
advance at a most critical stage of the war.
Also awarded the Military Cross. Invalided.
Coy. Sergt. Major G. SMITH, 1st Batt.
Royal Berks Regiment, Sparsholt.
Awarded the D.C.M. for an act in an
engagement which ended in the capture
of German trencehes and seventy
of the enemy.
Corpl. B. BOSLEY, 1st Batt. Beford Regt.
117 Wykeham Road, Reading. Carried a
wounded man to safety under heavy shell
fire; afterwards ill with gas poisoning.
