7th and 8th BERKSHIRES AT THE Y.M.C.A.
Before the 7th and 8th Battalions
Royal Berks Regiment left Reading to continue their training
elsewhere, over 200 N .C .O . s and men were
entertained to a farewell tea by Reading Young Men ' s Christian Association
Association, whose homely hospitality for the last six
months was gratefully acknowledged in a speech by Sergeant Piercy.
