in th e first six m onths of w ar
and had m ore or less com e under
th e n o tice of th e Officer Com
manding th e Depot, in to th e
duties o f w hich he en tered so
th o ro u g h ly th a t he fe ll ill and
en ded h is life from sheer devo
tio n t o King and cou n try.
OVER 100 OFFICERS N.C.O.s and MEN OF THE 7th and 8th BATTALIONS ATTENDED THE FUNERAL OF THE OFFICER COMMANDING THE DEPOT.
