2ND BATT. ROYAL BERKSHIRE REGIMENT.
[photo, portrait] The late Pte. HARRY BROWN, 22, Alfred Street, Reading. - Killed in action. Aged 19.
[photo, portrait] Lance. Corporal ISAAC ADAMS. - Prisoner of war. He sent this portrait to Mr. and Mrs. R. Hathaway, Reading, who "adopted" him in response to the appeal of Colonel W. A. Mount, M.P., and every week send him a parcel
[photo, portrait] The late Lieut. 0. GUY PAYNE, Wallingford. - Died of wounds. Aged 21.
[photo, portrait] Pte. HARRY WHEELER, 33, Filey Road, Reading. - In hospital.
[photo, portrait] Lce.-Corpl. ARTHUR EAMER, 45, Filey Road, Reading. - Wounded.
[photo, portrait] Pte. PERCY DAVEY, Abingdon. - Manned a machine gun single-handed when the rest of the team had been killed or wounded, played it on the enemy for several minutes until he himself was wounded; then he dismantled the gun and crawled to safety.
