The late FRANK B. HEWETT, 1st class ship's steward , H . M . S . Natal , son of ex - Police - Sergt .Hewett, Abingdon.
Lost in explosion on H . M . S . Natal .
The late ALFRED THOMAS KEY , ship's steward assistant on H . M . S . Natal,
20, Rose Street, Wokingham. He was a survivor of the explosion which destroyed
that battlecruiser , but was afterwards accidentally drowned from H . M . S . Rowan in Mudros Harbour ,
Dardanelles.
The late Leading Stoker JOHN WILLIAM ALLEN, H.M.S.Natal ,Cholmeley Road,
Reading . - Lost in explosion on H . M . S . Natal .
GEORGE HENRY HUNT,A.B., Hawke Batt. Royal Naval Div., 18 Cambridge Place, Reading. - Wounded.
The late Gnr. WM . G. STUART , Royal Marine Artillery, Runnymede, Thames Avenue, Pangbourne. - Lost in explosion on H . M . S . Natal .
FRANK FLETCHER, Royal Naval Division Supply Train, Albert Road, Bracknell. - Sick.
AS HARD AS IRON. - These Jolly Jack Tars, who hail from Reading, are typical "handy men", members of the crew of H.M.S. Iron Duke, Sir John Jellicoe's flagship.
DENNIS TAYLOR , A . B . , 23, Filey Road , Reading. - A survivor of the crew of the
auxilliary cruiser Bayano , torpedoed off the Wigtown coast.
