BLYDE, 1/1st Berks Yeomanry, 8, College Road, Reading. -€” Awarded the D.C.M. for services in Gallipoli, where, as a Lce.-Corpl., he killed, single-handed, two Turks who were about to take up their positions as snipers, and by order of the Major-General he was promoted sergeant on the field.
