Dvr. C. SCUTTER, Jewell's Farm, Stanford Dingley. -- In hospital with pleurisy.
IN A DUG-OUT IN FRANCE. -- Standing on the right is Dvr. F. PALK, 197, Caversham Road, Reading; and on the left Dvr. H. PEARCE, Station Road, Reading, with other members of the A.S.C. M.T.
Driver A. G. PEARMAN, Pangbourne. -- Sick.
Farrier Staff-Sergt. A. FORD, 23rd Divisional Train, formerly of Bradfield, who has gained the Meritorious Service Medal.
The late Pte. G. W. CLARK, M.T., Cholmeley Road, Reading. -- Accidentally killed while on duty. Aged 24.
LOCAL MEN IN THE A.S.C. M.T. -- In this group of members of the 273rd Company A.S.C.M.T., are many Reading men, including Willis, the Reading Football Club's clever half, and Crawford, their capable goalkeeper.
