VARIOUS REGIMENTS.
BERKS SIGNALLERS. -- These five men of the Signal Section, Royal Berks Regiment, now somewhere in France, have rendered signal servic in more senses than one, as the honours they have gained demonstrate.
Back row: Pte. COUSINS (Military Medal), Pte. GARLICK (Military Medal and bar).
Front row: Corpl. H. J. MATHEWS(Military Medal), Sergt. I. BOYD (Meritorious Service Medal), Lce.-Corpl. A. HISTEAD (Military Medal).
The late Dr. DAVID R. JOHNSTON, who for 25 years was medical officer to Huntley and Palmer's Biscuit Factory. He was also medical officer to the Royal Flying Corps at Reading, and it was while attending to a member of that Corps who had spotted fever that he fell a victim to the same disease.
PRISONERS OF WAR. -- The man with his arm in a sling is Pte. E. J. BROWN, 1/4th Royal Berks Regt., 26, Valentia Road, Reading.
Second A.M. G. STOPP, R.F.C., of Brightwell, Wallingford. -- Sick.
Sergt. F. C. EVANS, Dorset Regt., 115, Kennet Side, Reading. -- Shell shock.
The late Pte. LEONARD VICARY, 1st Batt. The Buffs, 34, Bolton Road, Windsor. -- Killed in action.

The late Sergt. L. D. WHITE, King's Royal Rifles, 31, Cambridge Street, Reading. -- Killed in action. Aged 24.
The late Rfn. WALTER CLAYTON, London Regt., 9, London Rd., Wokingham. -- Killed in action.
