THE RIFLE BRIGADE.
The late Rfn. HARRY CHAMP, 22, Meadowside Road, Pangbourne. -- Killed in action.
The late Corpl. R. DAVIDSON, of Pilgrim's Cottage, Waterloo Road, Wokingham. -- Killed in action.
Local members of the Rifle Brigade Band arouse much interest among the Arabs. The star denotes Bandsman Dawson, 20, Blagrave Street, Reading.
These seven N.C.O.'s all served in the Royal Berks Regiment over 20 years ago and are now in the Rifle Brigade. Sergts. Martin and Giles fought in Egypt over 32 years ago. Names: - Top row: Sergt. Penn (Reading), Sergt. Simms (Reading),
Sergts. Crutch (Datchet), and Sergt. Kingham (Newbury). Sitting: Sergt. Martin (Windsor) , C. S. M. Brooks, D.C.M. (Oxford), and Sergt. Giles (Reading).
The late Rfn. JOHN MILLS, 16, Hosier Street, Reading. -- Died from throat disease.
