VARIOUS REGIMENTS
The late Lieut.-Col. H. U. H. THORNE, Royal Scots, Deputy Clerk, Berkshire County Council. -- Killed in action.
The late Lieut. H. M. WRIGHT, Yorkshire Regt., son of Mr F. H. WRIGHT, Registrar, University College. -- Killed in action.
The late Pte. T. R. PARKER, Somerset Regt., Lily Farm, Mapledurham. -- Killed in action.
EACH THRICE WOUNDED. -- All these men have belonged to the 1st Berks and each has been wounded three times. Left to right they are: L.-Col. F. WATT (Essex Regt.), Pte. A. GUPPY (Herts Regt.), Sergt. W. MAJOR (Herts Regt.) and Corpral A. MASKELL (Essex Regt.)
The late Sergt. E. VASS, Royal Irish Rifles, son of Mr. and Mrs Vass, Up Green, Eversley. -- Killed in action.
The late Sniper W. J. PARSONS, Somerset L.I., Buckle Lane, Warfield. -- Killed in action.
The late Pte. HUGH JOHNSTON, East Kents (The Buffs) , 193, Caversham Road, Reading. -- Killed in action.
Pte. T. B. MILLS, London Scottish, of Messrs. Botly and Lewis, Reading. -- Wounded.
