THE DISTINGUISHED CONDUCT MEDAL
Second Lieut. T. R. ROGERS, of the Royal Berks, was presented with a silver luminous wrist watch by his fellow members of the Tilehurst Constitutional Club in recognition of his gallantry.
Sergt. ALFRED THOS. W. WRIGHT, 1/4th Royal Berks Regt., 134, Tilehurst Road, Reading. He has since been wounded.
Co.-Sergt.-Major JAMES WOOD, 1st Batt. Wilts Regt., 8, Boult's Walk, Reading.
CpI. S. SMITH, 8th Royal Berks Regt., Park Lane, Newbury. -- For bombing enemy dug-out and taking a prisoner single handed.
Corpl. PERCY F. GODDARD, Royal Berks Regt., 10, Castle St.,Reading. Wounded -- For bombing Germans in their trenches and bringing their machine gun to our lines.
Pte. W. G. PRICE, Wilts Regiment, Hatford, Faringdon. -- For attending wounded under shell fire.
Sergt.-Major MATTHEWS, 132, Elm Park Road, Reading. -- Wounded.
Sergt. E. MOTT, Border Regt., Drayton, Berks. -- Wounded twice in the Dardanelles.
C.S.M. WAITE, Royal Berks Regt., Binfield Park, Bracknell.
