VARIOUS REGIMENTS.
The late R. C. BRIND, London Regt., Cholsey. -- Killed in action.
A group of men in the Machine Gun Corps taken " Somewhere in France." Amongst the group is Sergt. NORMAN G. WAITE, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. Waite, of Caversham.
The late Pte. E. E. KIRBY, Wilts Regt., son of Mrs. W. Kirby, Great Park Cottages, Mortimer. -- Killed in action, December, 1916, aged 19. He was previously wounded at Loos.
Dmr. W. J. BANTEN. Worcester Pion rs, 615, Brunswick Street, Reading. -- Shell shock and bronchitis.
The late Second Lieut. L. F . CHOWNE, London Regt., eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Chowne, Blagrave Farm, Mapledurham. -- Killed in action. Aged 28.
The tall soldier is Rfn. G. GILLMAN, employed by the Star Tea Co., Reading. The photograph was taken in Egypt.
Corpl. G. HUDSON, R.F.C., 12, Fatherson Road, Reading, previously employed at the Gas Works. -- Septic poisoning in the right hand.
Sergt. W. KING, Machine Gun Corps, of Tidmarsh. -- Twice invalided from France with rheumatic fever.
