1ST BATT. ROYAL BERKSHIRE REGIMENT

The late Sgt. DENNIS HUMPHRIES, 27 Edward Street, Abingdon. - Killed in action. Aged 31.

Sergt. FREDK. WELLS, 1, Providence Place, Oxford Road, Reading (the first figure), who was wounded at Ypres in October, 1914, has 21 years' service with the colours, including the South African war.

The late Pte. CHARLES EDWARD WILLIAM PROCTOR, 17, Tudor Rd., Reading. Killed In action. Aged 34.

Pte. A. G. WHITE, reported wounded on November 15t h, 1914, and not heard of since.

Pte. W. H. JACKSON, 27, Wescott Road, Wokingham. - Wounded.

The late Pte. GEO. W. TOWNSEND, 132, Amity Road, Reading. - Killed in action. Aged 27.

Sergt. W. HODGES, South Stoke. Wounded.

The late Pte. JOHN SMITH, Hayes End, Middlesex. - Died of wounds. Aged 20.
