The late Gnr. W. WALTERS, Machine Gun Corps, late Royal Berks Regt., Frilford. - Killed in action.

The late Corpl. AUSTIN C. PAPPS, Tewkesbury. Employed at Reading. Killed in action.

The late Pte. T. HUBERT GAL­BRAITH SEMPLE, Bandon, Ireland (nephew of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Stevens, Kiln House, Caversham.) - Killed in action. He volunteered to bring in a wounded comrade in face of heavy shell fire and fell in the attempt.

The late Pte. ERNEST CHALLIS, Pear Tree Cottage, Embrook, Wokingham. - Killed in action. Aged 21.

The late Sergt. A. T. AMOR, Thatcham. - Killed in action. Aged 26. His officer commended him for bravery.

The late Pte. ALFRED BERNARD CHANDLER, 26, Great Knolly's St., Reading. - Killed in action. Aged 18.

The late Pte. ALBERT BREAKSPEAR, Childrey. - Killed in action. Aged 19.
