PRISONERS OF WAR

Corpl. H. EASTON , Lancers, formerly a police constable at Maidenhead (standing behind the chair) with two Belgian soldiers. Corpl. Easton was captured in the retreat from Mons.

A group of prisoners of war in Germany, all are in the Royal Berks. Regiment. Their names are Sergt. S.O. Belcher, Sergt. Smith, Corpl. Sturgess, Corpl. Barker and Corpl. O'Gorman.

Six Sergeants of the Royal Berks Regiment who have been taken prisoner by the Germans. The man standing on the far right is Sergt. F. WATERS, bother of Mrs A.E. Slater, 18 Belmont Road, Reading. Prisoner since Sept. 1915.

The cross indicates Pte. A. POVEY, 1st Royal Berks Regiment., Grazeley.
