THE HAMPSHIRE REGIMENT.
The late Pte. CHARLIE HUNT, Heath End, Baughurst. - Killed in action. Aged 20.
The late Corpl. T. SHEPPARD, Vernham Dean, near Hungerford. - Killed in action.
Pte. G. E. COOPER, The Vyne, Sherborne St. John. - Invalided after active service.
The late Dvr. F. FERRIS, Farm, Nuptown Farm, Warfield. - Died of wounds. Aged 21.
The late Pte. ARTHUR JOSEY, 2nd Batt., 3, Norfolk Street , Reading. - Killed in action.
Pte . W. RUSH , 24, Tidmarsh Street, Reading. - Wounded. Served seven years in India with 2nd Royal Berks Regiment.
EVERSLEY PATRIOTS. The way in which the villages responded to the country's call forms one of the brightest chapters in t he story of this terrible war. The above is a group of Eversley young men serving in t he Hants Regiment.
