ROYAL BERKSHIRE REGIMENT. VARIOUS BATTALIONS
The late Pte. A. WOODLEY, 76 Waldeck Street, Reading. Killed in action
Pte. PERCY JOHN GATER, 46 Westcot Road, Wokingham. Wounded in 13 places.
The late Lce.-Corpl. A .BROOKS, 11 Edgehill Street, reading. Killed in action. Aged 22.
Pte. G. BUSHELL, 3/4 th Batt., 52 Whitley Street, Reading. He has been twice wounded, gassed and on two occasions has had trench fever.
The late Pte. FREDK. HOWARD, Nine Mile Ride, Crowthorne. Killed in action
The late Lce.-Corpl. A.H. MARSH of Lambourn. Died of wounds.
The late Second Lieut. R.E. CRIPPS, 6 th Batt. Whitley Street, Reading. Killed in action. Aged 20.
A group of Reading men in a battalion of the Royal Berks Regiment taken in France. At the right of the back row is Cpl. F. Wright, 134 Tilehurst Road, Reading, whose brother C.S.M. A.T. Wright gained the D.C.M. in 1916.
