[photo, portrait] The late Pte. REGINALD JOSEPH COLES, 7th Royal Sussex Regt., attached 86th T.M.B., son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Coles, Croft Road, Goring, who was killed In action in France.
[photo, portrait] The late Sergt. MESSENGER, 3/4th Batt. Royal Berks Regt., second son of Mr. and Mrs. Messenger, of Maiden's Grove, Henley, who died after 2½ years' illness, contracted while on active service.
READING POST OFFICE ROLL OF HONOUR.
[photo, object] The Reading Post Office Roll of Honour, which records the names of 295 members of the inside and outside staffs of the Reading and District Post Office Service who have served in the war, together with the distinctions gained and the list of the fallen. Six of the number are women. The Roll of Honour was unveiled by Mr. W. Dickinson, the Surveyor, on Whit-Monday , 1919.
