The late Pte. ARTHUR BOWYER , 2nd Batt. Worcester Regt.,
6, Queen's Cottages, Queen's Road, Reading. Killed in
action.
The late Pte. JAMES MARTIN , 39, Clifton St., Reading. Died of malaria in
Egypt.
Pte. W. WHEATLEY , Cheshire Regt.,
46, Rupert St., Reading. Missing.
Pte. EDWIN J. V. COX , Worcestershire
Regt., Wokefield Green,
Mortimer.
Missing.
On the loft is Sergt. E. G. BRYANT ,
R. E. , who was educated at St. Stephen's
School and the Kendrick School.
He was employed before the war in the
Country Ledger Office at Huntley and
Palmers, Ltd., and was organist of
Dunsden Parish Church.
His comrade
is Lce.-Corpl. J. A. Moore, A. O. C. , who
was educated at Wok ngham
Road School, Reading.
Before the war he
was employed at the Reading Cooperative Society.
Both have seen service in France, Belgium and Italy.
The late Pte. R. H. HANCOCKS , 1st Batt. Artists Rifles, Wokingham Road, Bracknell. Killed in action.
The late Pte. A. J. ABSOLOM, of Stoke Row. Killed in action.
Pte. JOHN WOOFF , Hants Regt., of
Stanley Road, Bracknell. Suffering
from shell shock.
The late A/Sub- Conductor L. W. DOWELL , Army Ordnance Corps, of the
Butchers' Arms, Reading, who died from
the effects of a gunshot wound in the
back, and was buried in Mesopotamia.
The late Rfn. REGINALD E. HAMBLIN ,
Westminster Rifles, late of Northbrook
St., Newbury. Died of wounds.
