[photo, portrait] Captain H. M. HINDE, A.S.C. (M.T.), of "Heathcote", Wellington College, who has been awarded the O.B.E. (Military Division), for good work in the final advance just before the armistice.
[photo, portrait] Lieut. CYRIL PARKER STEVENS, son of the Rev. E. Stevens, who has been awarded the Military Cross. Mr. Stevens was stationed at Salonica and was the first English officer to enter Bulgaria after the Bulgarians surrendered.

[photo, location] The last resting-place of Second Lieut. Jack Weeks, Devon Regiment, who was drowned in the British transport "Royal Edward", which was torpedoed in 1915. Mr. Weeks, who was for some time in the employ of Messrs. Brain and Brain, was the son of Mr. W. Weeks, of "The Haven", Northumberland Avenue, Reading. The memorial stands on the Isle of Scarpantos, in the Aegean Sea.
[photo, portrait] Pte. H. H. MEADS, 1/4th Batt. Royal Berks Regt., serving in Egypt. Awarded the M.S.M. His name appeared in the list of the King's Birthday Honours.
[photo, portrait] Staff-Sergt. R. G. W. HEWS, R.A.S.C., late of Hose Hill Farm, Theale. Awarded the M.S.M. and mentioned in despatches.
