KNOWL HILL WAR SHRINE
The war shrine at Knowl Hill which was so impressively dedicated on Oct. 21 1917, is the beautiful gift of Miss C.C.R. Bulkeley.

SILCHESTER WAR SHRINE
The War Shrine unveiled at St Mary's Church, Silchester on Sept 26 1917 is the beautiful work of Mr Stuart G. Davis, and has called forth many expressions of admiration.

Picked up on the Arras-Cambrai Front
On April 11th Lce.-Corpl. G. Parr of 12 Lorne Street, Reading picked up eleven photographs, amongst them this one, on the Arras- Cambrai road. He recognised these three soldiers of the R.F.A. as Reading men.

Five Nationalities
An interesting group taken at Salonika, comprising five nationalities. On the right of the middle row, with a hand resting on his shoulder, is Pte. JOHN EVERETT, late of the Royal Berks. Regt., now in the Royal Irish Fusiliers, who was wounded at Christmas 1916. He was formerly a night hand at Messrs. H. and G. Simonds.
