TANK AS BAZAAR ITEM.

A novel feature of the sale of work held in St. Giles' Schools last week with a view to providing a hut for our wounded soldiers, was this miniature Tank, made by Corporal L.J. Shields and Mr. J.S. Dickinson.

Staff Sergt. H. CARTER, A.S.C., of Mortimer, is seen, not smoking a "fag" (though he may think the process a "fag"), but having his temperature taken in the New End Military Hospital, Hampstead. He has been mentioned twice in despatches and has served three years in France.

P.O. S.C. GOUG, R.N., 26, Manchester Road, Reading. - Awarded D.S.M. for service in connection with enemy submarines.
